Business Support are looking for an enthusiastic Business Support Team Leader that is a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist their team, and guide their Senior Business Support Officer and our operational stakeholders.
To be successful a Business Support Team Leader, candidates should be professional, polite and at tentative while also being accurate. They must possess a willing attitude in learning new processes, finding alternative solutions and willing to meet each challenge directly. Candidates should be computer literate and able to attend partnership meetings capturing minutes to a professional written standard. They must have a genuine desire to meet operational needs and be a positive team player when working within a group or alone.
Candidates will be required to work closely with their Line Manager and Senior Business Support Officer. The candidate must be able to accommodate daily matters and manage staff resouirces at short notice. The post will also requie the candidate to support their Line Manager in their absence. Lead by example and delegate workloads. Facilitate and support statutory meetings within other service areas when required. Be flexible and support a colleague’s role and manage workloads within the team during absences. Attend operational meetings. Analyse work processes and bring ideas in streamlining duties within the team. Train and coach new recruits within the team’s dynamics and workloads.
