We have embarked on an ambitious Parking Transformation Programme that includes the expansion of our In-House enforcement service and implementation of a new IT infrastructure. We are looking for someone to join us as a Parking Operations Manager, to lead and manage this very high-profile service.

About the role

 

The Parking Operations Manager role is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in delivering Haringey’s Parking Service. The post holder will be directly responsible for the delivery of the on-street and traffic enforcement service, through a large team of Civil Enforcement Officers, CCTV Enforcement Officers. The post holder will also manage the School Crossing Patrol Service.


About You

 

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, dynamic and energetic individual. You will have demonstrable experience managing a large frontline workforce – preferably in a regulatory setting, motivating and leading by example. There is the expectation that you will have expert knowledge of relevant legislation (principally the Traffic Management Act and Road Traffic Act), and demonstrable experience of budget management, including income forecasting and analysis.

 

 

This post will involve close interaction with elected members, local community representatives, partners and business. It is important that you possess excellent relationship and negotiation skills as you will need these to navigate the delivery of complex and controversial policies and projects.
