View Vacancy -- Commissioning Officer - Housing Related Support

If so, we have an exciting opening for a creative, motivated, and solution-focussed Commissioning Officer to join our celebrated Housing Related Support Team.

With the skills to build strong relationships, a commitment to improving outcomes and the ability to work proactively, you will work as part of a team commissioning a range of housing and homelessness services for vulnerable people. Working alongside a growing and varied team of commissioners and operational staff, you will take the lead in designing and commissioning a supported housing services for young people and care leavers in Haringey, but will also be involved commissioning services for a range of different residents.

You will have knowledge and experience working in either housing, homelessness or youth services, in the public or voluntary sectors. You will have the ability to manage competing priorities, a strong sense of creativity and innovation and the communication skills to build collaborative partnerships with service users, colleagues and stakeholders. You will be confident creating complex but concise documents for broad audiences, undertaking informal research and evidence gathering and using appropriate data to supplement your ideas.

You do not have to have commissioning experience to apply for this role. We are looking for someone who has the competencies and qualities to excel and grow, which could come from a range of professional and personal experiences.

We are especially keen to receive applications from people with lived experience of homelessness or being looked after by a local authority.
