About us
The London Association of Directors of Public Health represents Directors of Public Health across 33 local authorities. We collaborate, provide peer challenge and support, and advocate for public health priorities. We work closely with our partners, including London Councils, Public Health England, NHS England, and the Greater London Authority.
About the role
This is a stimulating role where you will be able to make a real difference to the effective running of the organisation.
You will be responsible for the overall business management and administration of the ADPH London programme office, provide a high quality and professional support service to the network of Directors and senior public health professionals.
The role involves managing and maintaining high-quality business processes, communication plans and support services. You will also promote and deliver best practice in financial and project management.
High quality stakeholder engagement skills are an important part of the role as you will oversee a wide range of communications and engagement activities in support of our members. You will also be comfortable working with senior officers in a fast-paced environment.
About the team
You will join a small and friendly team, hosted by Haringey Council and offering plenty of support. We are committed to our employees and offer many opportunities for professional development. This post is a 12 month fixed term contract with potential for extension.
