Job Title: Project Manager, North London Councils

Grade: PO4

Contract: Fixed term contract (12 months)

The North London Councils Programme, sponsored by the London Boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington, is looking to recruit a Project Manager to join the Programme Management Team based in St Pancras Square, Camden.

The Programme Management Team manages a range of projects on behalf of the five Councils to support joint working, and to promote the voice of local authorities within North London’s STP.

The post holder will work across the Team managing and supporting projects in the following areas:

-      Social care ‘markets’ – covering how we commission, quality assure and support care providers in North London

-      Independent Sector Workforce – supporting initiatives to promote the recruitment and retention of staff within the independent care sector

-      Hospital Discharge processes – working with health and care colleagues to support and develop processes to facilitate safe and timely hospital discharge

 

About you

A background in adult social care and health commissioning is desirable but not essential. We are looking for motivated self-starters who are committed to delivering change for the benefit of residents across the five boroughs.

You will need to demonstrate a track record of using the key skills required for managing projects, be able to lead change from the front, effectively analyse and draw conclusions from data, have an ability to work with and influence a range of stakeholders, be a strong communicator and possess good negotiation skills.
