Senior Lawyer (Adult Social Care)

Grade: PO6-PO7

Salary: £42,876-£49,737 

This role is vital for the Council’s safeguarding agenda and it supports internal clients by providing advice and assistance on all aspects of work relating to adult safeguarding, service provision disputes and judicial reviews.

We are looking for a solicitor, barrister or CILEX officer with at least 5 years PQE in this area of work. You will be able to lead, advise and manage complex work using your own initiative and with minimum supervision with a proven track record of advising and representing the local authority on a wide range of issues pertaining to adult care and support, safeguarding, service provision disputes and judicial reviews. You will be required to work collaboratively and flexibly.
