Specialist Domestic Abuse Practitioner
An experienced, collaborative and task focused domestic violence and abuse specialist with a proven ability to work with children, help increase victim safety and develop the skills and knowledge of other professionals in responding to domestic violence and abuse.
These are the qualities we believe to be necessary to do this job. You should clearly show in your application how your skill/experience potential meet some or all of them, as the shortlisting decision will be based on our assessment of you against these criteria:
A recognised professional qualification in the field of work with children, young people and families such as education, social care, work with parents and families to level 4 or equivalent OR
Demonstrable and substantial equivalent experience of working with vulnerable families.
Plus professional development relating to domestic violence and abuse such as Women’s Aid Award, Certificate and or Diploma in Tackling and Preventing Domestic and Sexual Violence and Abuse or accredited Safe Lives accredited Independent Domestic Violence Advocate OR demonstrable and substantial equivalent experience
