View Vacancy -- Opportunity Investment Fund Support Officer

Programme / Project Management
Temporary / Fixed Term

£33,948 - £36,711

About the role

We are looking for an outstanding programme support officer to administer our Tottenham small business loan fund aimed at supporting some of North London’s finest, growing businesses.  It is an ideal position for someone seeking to work with both the public and private sector in one of London’s most exciting places to do business.

You would lead in monitoring the performance of the loan fund and the businesses that have benefitted to date, ensuring our critical targets of job creation and the provision of high-quality commercial space are met.  These diverse businesses include local gems such as Redemption and Pressure Drop breweries, new restaurants and bars, workspace providers and unique leisure destinations such as a roller disco and a bouldering wall.

Along with the vast potential for growth there are considerable challenges facing the area and its business communities, not least pressure on commercial space and escalation of commercial rents and rates.

You will work on all aspects of the fund supporting the OIF manager.  This will involve providing secretariat support for the OIF advisory group, establishing and maintaining loan fund systems and procedures, handling all business enquiries and supporting the application process from start to finish.  The role also requires regular report and monitoring functions to be undertaken, including financial information and other evidence gathering.

To fit the role, you will be highly organised and analytical and be qualified in project or programme management.  You will have considerable experience in the administration and monitoring of grant-funded programmes, preferably with a focus on business and finance, including gathering monitoring information from external partners and compiling regular reports for funding bodies.  You will be skilled in managing stakeholder relations and be able to deliver results in a complex political environment working with wide-ranging partners with a range of interests.
