About the role

We need a passionate, committed and experienced Early Years/Nursery Manager to take up an exciting position as the Executive Head of Childcare Services across the 3 local authority Nurseries in our Children Centres.

This is a great opportunity to develop the vision for Haringey’s maintained Childcare Services and make an impact on the outcomes and lives of our children and families.

You will be expected to work across Triangle, Woodside and Park Lane Nurseries and Children's Centres - Woodside has a recent Ofsted rating of Outstanding, with Triangle and Park Lane being judged as Good.

 

About you

  • The successful candidate will manage the Childcare Services in our 3 Local Authority nurseries - Triangle, Woodside and Park Lane.
  • You will be a visionary and strategic leader who will have experience of successfully leading childcare provisions with extensive understanding of the EYFS and early years pedagogy.
  • You will be expected to lead by example and be able to model great practice as well as manage the operational duties of each nursery.
  • Each nursery is developing planning in the moment curriculum with the child at the centre of everything we do.
  • You will be working with dedicated teams of Practitioners and Senior Managers who are committed to developing each centre as a centre of excellence in Early Years.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms is essential.

Travelling from one Nursery to another will be required. If you are a car driver, a parking permit will be provided. All nurseries are easily accessible via public transport. 


The time spent across each of the 3 nurseries will vary according to service need and requirements at that time.
