Our service offers a great place to develop a career that creatively serves and develops Early Help to children, young people and their families. Currently, we are looking for a Team Leader to join our team and really make a difference in the local community.

About you

  • You will already have your HCPC qualification and have considerable experience of delivering excellence for families, children and young people
  • Your line management skills will be fully utilised across all aspects of the role, from HR issues to coaching and mentoring, by leading from the front and developing a team to mirror your passion and drive in the service that you provide
  • You will be a positive communicator who can collaborate, influence and challenge with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • You will have sound knowledge of the research, legislation and statutory responsibilities that underpin Children's Social Care, and be able to work to a high standard, meet deadlines and contribute to a learning culture within your team.
  • You will have a strong project management approach to activities with a high emphasis on quality

 

About the role

  • As a Leader in Early Help, you will be responsible for establishing and embedding the delivery of quality early help assessments with an outcome focused support
  • You’ll work with multi-agency teams, embedding whole family plans providing tailored, timely and sequential interventions
  • Empower families by accessing services through calls, referral forms and accompaniment to appointments
  • Ensure practitioners are empowered to challenge and support families to achieve their goals
  • Provide professional expertise and guidance to Locality Managers and Senior Family Support Workers to set targets for Locality teams and team members
  • Establish a team around the Family approach – with team members taking on the role of Lead Professional as required, and lead/challenge other professionals to deliver actions towards targeted outcomes
