Haringey Council has developed a Green and Open Spaces Strategy for the Tottenham Hale area of the borough. Over the next five years the council is looking to invest over £7m in green space in Tottenham Hale. The council therefore, wishes to appoint two experienced Park Development Managers to lead on the delivery of the green space improvements.
Working closely with the Client and Contracts Manager and supported by strong team of officers, you’ll develop and implement plans and policy to continually improve the Tottenham Hale Green and Open Spaces for all residents and visitors. We want you to explore, develop and roll-out new initiatives to make sure that our green and open spaces remain award-winning and cost-effective. You’ll identify areas for future improvements and developments, such as where and how we can improve our parks, play areas and sports areas. You will also look at ways in which we can reduce the cost of maintenance, and market our offer more proactively, demonstrating the real benefits of the great outdoors and of being active.

In this role you will have the opportunity to help develop new polices, translate the London Mayors Polices to Haringey, work across the council on service transformation and regeneration projects, and drive innovation within the service.
