Your new team
People access different parts of the CSRT services depending on their current mental health needs. Our services are continuing to evolve to meet the changing needs of people in the local area. Our focus on continually improving our services means we’re now developing our services to work more closely with Primary Care. With a greater emphasis on improving the physical health of our clients, there is also a newly appointed borough physical health care lead. We are also developing closer working relationships with Haringey Citizens Advice Service and will have a specialist worker embedded within the team.

Your New Role
You will manage and develop a Multi-Disciplinary Team of the integrated community mental health service comprised of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses and Social Workers, Employment Support Specialists, Dual Diagnosis workers and Discharge Intervention Workers. You will be responsible for the allocation, deployment, prioritisation and delivery of community services as well as provide clinical leadership in implementing and reviewing systems, policies and procedures that ensure the provision of high quality services with frameworks collaboratively agreed by the BEH Trust and Haringey Council.

  • Passionate about developing staff and supporting them to reach their full potential

What you’ll get in return

In addition, Haringey offers a wide range of attractive benefits including Flexible Working, Season Ticket & Bike Loans, Health & Dental Plans, Childcare Vouchers and other Staff Discounts to major stores, local leisure centres and gyms.

Testimonial from Social Worker

Rosemary:

"In my role as a Social Worker in the East Community Support and Recovery Team, I work with a very varied client group. The role is busy but I receive good support from my manager and colleagues, which helps me overcome any challenges I face. A large part of my role is acting as an advocate and being the client’s voice. I enjoy building therapeutic relationships with client’s and their carer’s, which sometimes is a challenge if the client doesn’t see the need to meet with us, but I always ensure I put people in touch with the right support.

I’ve had good career development opportunities working in Haringey, and since joining the service I’ve trained as a Best Interests Assessor and a Practice Educator. I think working in Haringey can be challenging, but I’ve found it very rewarding."

Closing Date: Wednesday 25th July 2018
