About the role
The Funding Manager will be a key member of the Early Help Commissioning Team, leading on the delivery of effective funding and payment arrangements for the early years free entitlement, early years pupil premium, school exclusions, contract payments and invoicing. The role contributes to the wider commissioning functions of the team, working collaboratively with colleagues to support the commissioning of early education places and interventions across the age range for children, young people and families.
As Funding Manager, you will contribute your sound financial knowledge to the strategic planning across the early help commissioning service, working alongside colleagues, schools, early education providers and other services to determine needs and ensure resource allocations are appropriate, and deliver better outcomes for Haringey’s residents.
About you
You will be a strong believer in delivering good outcomes for children, young people and families in Haringey. As an excellent communicator, you will be able to build strong working relationships and recognise the importance of making good financial governance work through the active engagement of others.
You will be a confident individual who can bring robust knowledge of financial accounting processes and experience of working with funding and payments systems to the role. A background or experience working with providing funding to schools and childcare providers would be beneficial.
You will be an energetic and creative thinker, able to lead the development and design of effective financial administration systems. You will have the energy and drive to make change happen.
