View Vacancy -- Delivery Unit Lead Analyst

Strategy, Policy & Governance
Temporary / Fixed Term

£42,847 - £45,691

About the role

You will be part of the Corporate Delivery Unit, a small dynamic team that provides challenge and support to the Corporate Board as they seek to deliver key outcomes and targets.

The approach developed in Haringey is sector leading, attracting significant interest from across local and central government, but the team is only as good as the calibre of officers that comprise it. We are looking for ambitious individuals to build on our successes and develop the model for the future.

Working directly with the Chief Executive, senior leaders, operational managers and frontline staff, you will ensure effective, evidence-based improvement plans are in place. As plans are implemented, you will work to ensure delivery stays on track and ensure that effective monitoring and evaluation are in place. You will help to build capability within teams and across the organisation so that improvements are sustained beyond Delivery Unit involvement. As the lead analyst in the team, you will support other officers to conduct or commission data analysis and plan for evaluation and monitoring.

About you

You are an analyst/researcher who wants to see a direct impact from the insight you produce. You have a proven track record of building relationships at senior level to enact change. You are a confident communicator with the ability to communicate effectively at senior levels to inform service improvement and management decisions. You are able to negotiate, influence and deliver on promises made to senior staff. You have excellent research, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, and the ability to visualise, interpret and translate data and information into practical action in a fast moving environment. You are ambitious about exploring the use of the latest developments in analytics to drive change.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an officer seeking experience in working with senior leaders to drive improvement.
