We have an opportunity working within our busy Council Corporate HR Team on a Fixed Term Contract - 12 months.

We are looking for candidates who ideally have considerable experience of providing a wide range of HR advice to Council Services in a Local Government environment.
The successful candidate will have solid experience of working in an advisory capacity with knowledge and the understanding of current employment legislation as well as its practical application.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate working with customers on delivering solutions on both sensitive and complex employee relations issues, including absence management, performance, grievance, transformation and organisational change.
Candidates must also have solid and demonstrable TUPE insourcing/outsourcing experience.
The candidate will be a team player who can develop working relationships quickly with Senior Managers, Business Managers, team members and third parties.
Candidates must also be adaptable and able to demonstrate an understanding of both business and employee needs.
