About the role

Haringey Early Help Service is recruiting for a part-time Youth Practitioner within the Youth Team.

 

The Youth Practitioner role is part of the Early Help and Prevention Service, working with families who are in need of additional support as well as being part of a team providing universal sessions to young people aged 10-19 (up to 25 with SEN) and offering preventative interventions in schools.

 

The role will be in the evenings at Bruce Grove Youth Club. 
 

About you

To be considered for this post you must have previous substantial experience of working with hard to engage and vulnerable young people using a variety of creative and innovative approaches to engage and enable young people’s access to positive activities and services. We are looking for someone with proven ability to work with high risk, vulnerable young people, and the capacity to form effective working relationships with a wide range of partners and agencies.

You will ideally have a Youth Work qualification, or other relevant qualification, or experience of delivering youth or adolescent focussed programmes.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. An enhanced disclosure check with the DBS will be undertaken. 

This is an 18 hour per week post, based at Bruce Grove Youth Club for evenings only. Candidates need to be flexibale and available during these times.
