View Vacancy -- Capital Project Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small team undertaking projects to maintain and enhance our corporate estate.  Offices, depots, schools, libraries - even a Grade I listed castle/museum - we have a large number of properties all in need to care and attention.  You will be leading a team of surveyors and engineers to commission projects to deal with the condition issues on our estate, and bring them up to date.  You'll be accountable for spending against a multi-million pound budget, procuring works and overseeing them through to completion, ensuring they delivery on time, to budget and to a high standard.

We're looking for someone with a real love of buildings, and a willingness to sort out issues large and small.  You will need a relevant technical qualification and professional membership.  You will also need to be a good people person, able to work with many stakeholders in a complex environment, with an appreciation of the many issues affecting public service buildings.
