Haringey Adult Social Services is committed to strengths base working and we currently have a vacancy for a Team Manager in our Assessment Team. 

You will be responsible for leading the team to achieve the goals that have been set by motivating and developing them to continuously improve strengths based practice, as well as working with management team colleagues to improve the wider system.

About You

We are looking for someone who is able to use the Councils vision and values, as well as best practice guidance to lead and motivate the team to deliver high standards, as well as embrace and model the Haringey values in your day to day work. 

As well as being a qualified social worker, ideally with additional AMHP or BIA qualifications, you will be confident in accessing and using social care systems and organisational data bases and have a sound knowledge of underpinning relevant legislation. 

You will have good IT skills and a confident approach to health and social care records, processes, and systems and the management information arising from them, as well as the aptitude to manage budgets for which training will be given.

You will have a distinct area of responsibility where you can focus on delivering on key performance and impacting on quality of care within your area of expertise.
