About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new and innovative council service. Working collaboratively to support people affected by rough sleeping, predominantly from EEA countries, to achieve rapid and positive move-on from emergency and short-term accommodation.  

You will be key in helping to deliver a co-produced support service to tackle progression for predominantly EEA national clients. This role will be varied, fast-paced and outcomes focussed. 

You will be responsible for a caseload of clients. The focus of this role is to help people secure employment, housing options and to regularise their stay in the UK via the EU Settled Status Scheme. 

 

About You

Joining a proactive and motivated Commissioning and Housing-Support team, you will be responsible for working with clients in this key new service for adults in short term accommodation who need extra provision to progress. 

With experience working in relevant support services, and with skills in co-production and partnership working, you will be confident in your ability to help deliver a ground-breaking new service. You will be solution focussed, and motivated to tackle the causes and effects of homelessness with a personalised, collaborative, and dynamic approach.


With a focus on achieving genuine outcomes, you will use your skills to come up with creative solutions for clients to move on including looking at options of employment for this client group. 

You’ll empower people with a wide range of complex needs and experiences to improve their circumstances.

 

Closing Date: Monday 27th July 2020

This position is offered on a fixed term contract until 30th March 2021, with the intention to extend into a permanent role if funding allows.
