About the role

The post holder will work closely with regeneration teams and other stakeholders delivering community led initiatives that will address crime and antisocial behaviour. The role will involve managing initiatives and events to build relationships with communities and raise the profile of the community safety programme. The post holder will also work with a variety of stakeholders to build community relations.

           

About you


We are looking for an experienced Community Safety Engagement Officer to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders to strengthen community level response to Community Safety issues across Northumberland Park and Broadwater Farm estates. Candidates will need a demonstrable ability and track record of successful engagement with residents, elected members, Council departments, Police, community groups and other stakeholders, building positive and productive working relationships.

 

You will need to be an innovative and creative self starter with the ability to manage a diverse workload. You will be responsible for the delivery of multiple projects and will need to deliver these on time, to budget and to a high quality.
