About the role

The Insurance Team is part of the Audit & Risk Management business unit in Haringey Council and we now want to recruit an Insurance Paralegal Officer.

Reporting to the Risk and Insurance Manager, you will work closely with all Council services and will be responsible for developing and promoting effective insurance and risk management policies and processes.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment progressing cases, under supervision and must have experience of RTA, EL and PL claims within the Portal for Low Value Personal Injury Claims at Stages 1, 2 and preferably Stage 3. You will also be required to analyse risk in order to support improvements within the team and across the Council.


About you

We want to hear from you if you have a solid paralegal background, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with relevant experience managing your own caseload including litigated cases and experience handling Motor, Employer and Public Liability claims.
