About the role
To be responsible for the timely processing of appeals cases lodged at London Tribunals.
Provide guidance to support correspondence officers in relation to handling representations where needed. You will also be expected to provide feedback on case outcomes where relevant.
To use quality monitoring procedures to assist in the improvement of how informal and formal stage responses are dealt with.
To inform members of the correspondence team of any changes in policy or legislation.
You will be expected to represent the council at Adjudication hearings, setting out the council’s legal position in relation to appeals.
About you
You will have experience in submitting a minimum of 3-5 case summaries per day to London Tribunals in timely manner with all supporting evidence required.
You will have some experience of attending personal hearings and are confident in representing the councils position.
