Team Manager - Hospital and Reablement Service

If so, we have an exciting opening for an experienced, motivated and innovative Social Care Manager to work within our new re-designed service in Adult Social Care.

With a professional qualification in Social Work or Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) you will manage a multi-disciplinary team including Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Community Care Officers. You will have core responsibility for ensuring that duties of the team are undertaken effectively and efficiently on a day to day basis.

You will have extensive knowledge and experience in the field of adult social care, with an emphasis on safeguarding practice and related legislation. You will have the ability to manage competing service priorities and a sound grasp of the personalisation agenda, integration and meeting the business objectives of the department. Demonstrating management and leadership skills you will have excellent all round communication and negotiation skills in leading an experienced staff team and working with the Statutory, Voluntary and Independent sector partners.

We have common expectations of all our team managers concerning their standard of technical knowhow and their performance management and service improvement skills as well as their people management and resource management skills.
