This is an exciting time to be working in Tottenham. Over the next 10 years, South Tottenham will harness its vast potential to address socio-economic inequality, through the delivery of a great range of homes, new employment opportunities for young people in the Creative Sector and creating fully connected communities with better transport links and excellent places to live, work and visit. Tottenham Hale’s new District Centre will deliver 5,000 homes and 4,000 jobs of over the coming years. Running from the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to Seven Sisters station, Tottenham High Road will be celebrated for its vibrant town centres, wonderful heritage, strong and proud multi-cultural communities and local character including its successful markets.


About the role
At a time when all high streets across the country are facing the same challenge brought on by the pandemic, Tottenham is perhaps in a unique position to deliver on its Strategy for Tottenham High Road 2019-2029 having secured significant investment in Bruce Grove, Tottenham Green and Seven Sisters town centres to support the medium to long term recovery.
Now’s the time to join our team! We are looking for individuals who share the same commitment and love for Tottenham and match our ambitious programme of interventions that cut across development sites, workspace, markets, infrastructure, adaptations and placemaking delivery.


About you
The successful candidate will:
• Be accountable and responsible for delivering best practice programme and project management and supporting the South Tottenham team to do the same.

• Lead on the delivery of the projects across the team, this could include leading programme planning and reporting, budget analysis, negotiating funding agreements and output tracking.
• You will have experience of working in a physical, social and economic regeneration setting or equivalent with a clear understanding of the challenges that presents.

• You will have experience of developing and sustaining successful partnership working to bring forward and deliver (regeneration) projects.
• Able to manage and be accountable for budgets, programmes and projects, and experience of project and programme management.
• The role is grade range (P04-06), at P06, you will manage complex projects and programmes with limited oversight from the Head of Area Regeneration, driving the delivery of the key elements of the programme.
