About the role

We are looking for an experienced and confident person to be the Councils lead officer providing professional advice and reports on all nature conservation and biodiversity matters. The main duties of the post include developing and delivering Council policies on nature conservation, providing guidance for other Council services on wider strategy and support, co-coordinate and monitor the activities of all nature conservation stakeholders working within Haringey.




You will have a degree or equivalent, in ecology or environmental science and have 3 year’s practical experience in managing urban nature conservation projects, including woodland management. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate and have a proactive approach to working on your own or as part of a team.
