About the role
Haringey Young Adults Service (YAS) is looking for a committed and self-motivated experienced Social Worker to provide support and advice to Care Leavers aged 16-25 as they make the transition from care to independence. We also operate a referral and intake service for unaccompanied minors age 16 plus arriving in the borough.
About you
The available post will require someone with experience of working with Care Leavers, Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, age assessments and child and family assessments. Creative thinking, good written skills and the ability to hit the ground running is needed as YAS is a fast –paced environment.
