About the role

Civil Enforcement Officers play a vital role in ensuring a smooth traffic flow, maximising available parking spaces and enhancing safety throughout the borough by ensuring compliance of on-street parking contraventions. The role also entails ensuring the efficient running of the Council’s pay and display car parks and the on-street pay and display areas.



About You

Delivering parking enforcement through a directly employed in-house team, Haringey Council are seeking individuals who possess sound knowledge and experience of parking enforcement legislation, with excellent customer care skills, which is essential for this role. Applicants must be able to demonstrate good people skills, often in challenging situations to ensure that the council is represented in a professionals and helpful manner.  As an ambassador for the council applicants must be good team players with the ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide accurate written and verbal advice.


Working 36 hours per week, applicants must be prepared to work in all weathers on a flexible rota basis which will include weekends and bank holidays.
