The Educational Psychology Service (EPS) plays a key role in this work as part of the Integrated Service for SEN and Disabilities.  It is vibrant and forward looking, providing the highest level of psychological input, assessment, and interventions to support the development of children, young people and families in the borough.  

Our aim is to deliver a responsive and high-quality educational psychology service which contributes to sustaining and improving the educational and mental health outcomes for the children and young people/adults of Haringey, especially those who are the most vulnerable.  

About the Role:

The Service is a key partner in delivering the local authority’s Early Help Offer and the   SEND Reforms.  In partnership we are delivering emotional well -being and mental health support as part of the mental health trailblazer pilot and COVID 19 work. The EPS provides traded services to schools. 

About You:

We are looking for an inspirational and experienced educational psychologist with a clear vision to lead the EPS in these very challenging times and beyond. We have a dynamic dedicated team, and we are currently fully staffed. 

You will have:

  • Psychology degree (or BPS equivalent);
  • Professional Qualification in Educational Psychology;
  • HCPC registration and eligibility for chartered psychologist status.
  • Experience of managing a team in a challenging environment.
