Centre Assistant - Triangle Children's Centre

2 Part Time positions available - 27.5 hours and 15 hours per week

About the Role

Triangle Children’s Centre provides childcare for families in a diverse local community. We are looking for a Centre Assistant to work with children aged 1 years to rising 5 year olds.

A Centre Assistant works under the direction of the Senior Early Years Officer to undertake a range of domestic, cleaning and associated duties in order to ensure the safety, welfare, physical and mental well-being of children and all users of the Centre throughout the day. The role will involve working closely with the children at meal, sleep and personal care times.

We need someone who can use their initiative and work independently as well as being part of a highly motivated and professional team. You will need to have a caring nature to work with very young children.

About You:

As well as having previous cleaning experience, in order to be successful in this position, you will:

• Have experience of working with young children
• Be able to be flexible in meeting the needs of a wide range of children

• Be willing to undertake further training
