Team Manager required to work within the Safeguarding Team of Children in Need of Support & Protection service. The requirement is for a full time permanent role for 36 hours per week. The borough of Haringey is unique with diverse children and families; we are looking for social workers that are ready for a fresh challenge, with the ability to make a real difference to the residents of Haringey borough.

Experienced Team Manager required with two years of management experience, preferably in a similar setting. The successful candidate will join supportive colleagues whose core business relates to long-term child protection.

The skill base required centre on managing performance of Social Workers with the end objective of providing long-term child protection within the Borough of Haringey. We are committed to "signs of safety" and need exceptional social workers who are committed to embedding this model of working.

The structure of the Safeguarding Service includes Five Teams, Five Senior Practitioners, and 25 Social Workers managed overall by the Service Manager within Safeguarding.

Haringey Council offers yearly retention amount of £3000 for Safeguarding Teams after 18 months of service. The recruitment and retention payments are paid to social workers qualified professionals and are subject to conditions. Recruitment payment to the amount of £3000 per year. Other benefits include 30 days of annual leave and 50 hours a year of personal development training and pension scheme.
