Team Manager required to work within the MASH Team of Children in Need of Support & Protection service. The requirement is for a full time permanent role for 36 hours per week. Experienced Team Manager required with two years of management experience, preferably in a similar setting. The successful candidate will join supportive colleagues whose core business relates to multidisciplinary working. The skill base required centre on managing performance of Social Workers with the end objective of managing thresholds and allocating referrals to ensure child protection within the Borough of Haringey. We are committed to "signs of safety" and need exceptional social workers who are committed to embedding this model of working.

The structure of the MASH Service includes Three Team Managers, Three Senior Practitioners and 6 Social Workers managed overall by the MASH Service Manager. Haringey Council value the staff we employ; we will support you to progress your career through the management structure of the Council. Your line manager will provide on-going personal development through supervision.

Haringey Council offers yearly retention amount of £1500 for the MASH Teams after 18 months of service. The recruitment and retention payments are paid to social workers qualified professionals and are subject to conditions. Other benefits include 30 days of annual leave and 50 hours a year of personal development training and pension scheme.
