This is a critical time to join our strong and ambitious leadership team, at a dynamic, forward-thinking Council.

In this exciting role you will lead on our top priorities, which means you will have enormous scope to make your mark. You will be responsible for:

  • A council housing programme at a scale not seen for decades, with 1000 new council homes at council rents promised for delivery over the next 4 years.
  • Regeneration with local people at its heart, engaging people in shaping our borough’s future.
  • Building and retaining wealth in our community, supporting an economy that provides opportunities for our residents, and helps our businesses to thrive.

Haringey is a fantastic place to live and work, boasting all of the ingredients that make London one of the great world cities – vibrant communities, excellent schools, attractive open spaces, diverse neighbourhoods, great transport links, and a flourishing economy.

You will relish challenge, and bring energy and pace to the delivery of our ambitions. You will be a great leader who believes in developing and empowering your teams, and collaborating with colleagues to get the best possible outcome. You will be great at fostering partnerships, with excellent commercial skills, and a high degree of political sensitivity.

In return we offer a highly competitive remuneration package and generous staff benefits.
