Job Title:               Senior Procurement Officer – Construction & Public Realm

Grade:                   P07 – PO8

Salary:                  £46,680 - £54,201 per annum

About the role

Procurement has recently gone through major change and are now in full throws of bringing into the Council new dynamic way’s of procuring. As part of the programme of change, the Council is adopting a new procurement model that will enable better utilisation of procurement resources and improved operational and commercial efficiencies going forward.

The implementation of a new electronic purchasing system, which is a complete end to end procurement system that facilitates Procurement, commissioning, payment and contract management processes, is occurring in conjunction with the new procurement model role out.
 

About you

The newly formed Strategic Procurement (SP) team is now looking for members of staff to join the team in the roles of Senior Procurement Officer for the respective Construction and Public Realm areas.

We are looking for someone with relevant Public Sector and Construction / Public Realm specific procurement experience to join this newly formed dynamic team.

We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, team players who adopt a ‘Can Do’ approach, are able to work under pressure and deliver against set targets and deadlines.
