About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a new and innovative council service; a multi-use resource centre and hub for single homeless people.Leading a small multi-disciplinary team to deliver a co-produced and psychologically-informed support service to prevent and tackle homelessness, this role will be varied, fast-paced and outcome focused. You will undertake all service management including managing a small team, all aspects of the physical environment and delivery of a comprehensive offer of support, recreation and opportunity for single homeless adults.
Joining a proactive and motivated Commissioning and Housing-Support team, you will be responsible for managing this key new service for adults at risk of homelessness and rough sleeping in the Borough.
With experience managing relevant homelessness services, and with skills in co-production, staff management and partnership working, you will be confident in your ability to deliver a ground-breaking ‘Hub’ service. You will be solution focused, and motivated to tackle the causes and effects of homelessness with a personalised, collaborative and dynamic approach.
