About the role 

The Educational Psychology Service plays a key role in this work as part of the Integrated Service for SEN and Disabilities.  It is vibrant and forward looking, providing the highest level of psychological input, assessment and interventions to support the development of children, young people and families in the borough.  Our aim is to deliver a responsive and high-quality educational psychology service which contributes to sustaining and improving the educational and mental health outcomes for the children and young people/adults of Haringey, especially those who are the most vulnerable.  The Service is a key partner in delivering the local authority’s Early Help Offer and the   SEND Reforms.    

About you

We are looking for educational psychologists or trainees in their 3rd year to join our supportive, friendly team at what is an exciting time for our service. After a successful trailblazer bid the service is playing a key role in developing emotional wellbeing in our schools and responding to needs around COVID 19.  

Minimum requirements for post:  Psychology degree (or BPS equivalent); Professional Qualification in Educational Psychology; HCPC registration and eligibility for chartered psychologist status. 

This position is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (formally Criminal Records Bureau check).
