You will be responsible for finding cost effective and timely services for vulnerable adults. You will be working with the Adults Service teams to achieve good outcomes, develop working relationships with providers and to contribute to managing the market in Haringey.

About you

We are seeking candidates for an exciting role within the Adults Brokerage Team as a Brokerage Officer.

The Brokerage Service will facilitate and support Social Workers, Care Managers and Budget Holders to achieve desired outcomes for residents, to deliver good quality of care, achieve targeted savings and to contribute to managing the market by re-shaping current provisions and effecting a strategic direction towards more direct payments.   

The desired candidates will be required to have a sound knowledge of the Care Act to ensure providers are compliant with CQC protocols, while having some experience in the Social Care field. Also, an extensive knowledge in IT will be essential as the role will require working on a Mosaic platform along with Microsoft applications.

The role will give you exposure to a vast amount of different social care professionals as you will be attending meetings to discuss individual cases. Team working is essential in this role, as we are seeking candidates who can proactively contribute to problem solving.
