About the role:


Haringey Council Pension Fund are looking for an experienced Senior Local Government Pension Officer to join our busy pensions team, this is an key role in the pensions administration team and you will be expected to have practical experience of helping manage a pensions team to produce high quality work.

The post holder with have will have excellent IT skills including proficiency in Altair, Excel, Outlook and Word and be confident in using databases and scanning machines.

About you:

You must be highly organised, adaptable, able to accurately work to high standards under pressure and to deliver to tight deadlines. You will need to be an excellent team player, able to manage team members. You will have proven ability to work proactively including supervising, developing, coaching and mentoring team members. You will have excellent communication organisational and interpersonal skills with a commitment to outstanding customer service. You should be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels from managers to frontline workers.

You should be able to answer queries by telephone, in writing or by email. You should be able to keep up-to-date with changes in pension legislation and tax laws.
