Job Title: Lawyer (Litigation)

Grade: PO4 - PO5

About the Role

This role is vital for the Council’s Borough Plan objective of providing a safe, stable and affordable home for everyone whatever their circumstances. You will be required to manage a demanding caseload of advice and litigation matters in the areas of Housing (including homelessness) and Anti-social Behaviour.  

About You

We are looking for a solicitor, barrister, CILEX officer or someone with equivalent experience in the area of Housing Litigation (to include homelessness) and ASB. You will have an in-depth knowledge of the law and procedure relating to Housing Law and excellent advocacy and influencing skills. You must be able to manage a demanding caseload using your own initiative and with minimum supervision.
