Rehabilitation Officer – Visual Impairment

Grade: PO1  £31,548- £33,291

 

About the role

Based within a physical disabilities multi-disciplinary team you will be part of a committed and dedicated Sensory Impairment Team. You will be responsible for rehabilitation programmes for adults and young people with visual impairments to develop their full potential, teaching orientation and mobility, independent daily living and communication skills and low vision training.

 

About you

You should be a Qualified Rehabilitation Officer (DipHE in Rehabilitation Studies or equivalent). You can demonstrate a flexible approach, are self-motivated to deliver high quality positive outcome customer services to the public and can demonstrate a social care modal approach to work.
