View Vacancy -- Corporate Internal Communications Officer
Do you enjoy being the best?
A great opportunity has come up to work in one of the fastest paced public sector communications teams in the country. Haringey is a busy, diverse borough that is constantly changing – it’s already a fantastic place to live with some of the best schools and parks and some of London’s most iconic neighbourhoods.
The Communications Team is focussed on innovative ideas, positive stories and communicating the council’s work.
Now we want to hire a positive and proactive communications professional. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment that is constantly challenging and interesting. If you are talented and ambitious and looking for an excellent career move, then we would like to hear from you.
About the role
With a number of transformation programmes underway, we’re on the lookout for a highly experienced internal communications professional to join our Communications Team and help communicate the changes and support our staff through continuous change. You’ll work closely with our senior managers and our change and transformation programme leads, as well as with colleagues across communications, to shape key messages. You will also be instrumental in the development and delivery of an internal communications and employee engagement strategy.
About you
A proactive, experienced and internal communications professional to support the successful delivery of the council’s transformation programmes and culture change work. We need someone with a personal and professional demeanour who can gain confidence and respect; someone who is creative, innovative and enthusiastic. It will involve active working with a number of colleagues across the communications team, the wider council and stakeholders - so a strong and collaborative approach is essential.
