The Head of Service of Safeguarding Quality, Impact & Practice Service (SQIP) will be an ambassador of best practice.  Learning and Development is key to the ethos of Haringey Council and this role will have the responsibility of overseeing the Children’s Services Academy. The role will require management of the Independent Reviewing Officers, Child Protection Chairs and working closely with Haringey Children’s and Adults Safeguarding Partners. The direct reports will include the Principal Social Worker, HCSP manager, LADO, Learning and Development Manager and Service Manager for Child Protection and Review Service.

We need someone who is creative, innovative and motivated to support the senior leaders deliver a high quality and effective service. It is an excellent opportunity to build upon good practice. You will be an experienced qualified and registered social worker with a passion to demonstrate best practice.  You must be committed to deliver high quality performance and good outcomes for Children, Young people and their Families.
