About you

As an Executive Business Support Officer within Haringey Council’s Safeguarding Practice Learning & Development Service, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a number of Business Support Officers. We are looking for an experienced Business Support Officer to join our team of enthusiastic, energetic and creative people as part of the Haringey Children’s Services Academy & Workforce Development Service. 

We are looking for a team player who can respond to the wider needs of the team and adapt to meet those needs in a flexible manner. You will be able to influence and build effective working relationships with colleagues. You will also be able to work well under pressure and with colleagues to resolve problems quickly and effectively. 

We are looking for a confident elf motivated, enthusiastic team player who has experience managing business support staff. You will:

  • Be confident in providing support to middle and senior managers.
  • Be confident in liaising between officers and managers both internally and externally, ensuring all advice and communication is delivered to a high standard.
  • Be highly motivated, keen to learn and have the confidence to work independently as required.
  • Oversee the day to day management data recording systems in place that support the Safeguarding, Quality, Improvement and Practice service. 

 

You should be a proactive self-starter approach with the ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines and ideally have previous administration and support work experience with children’s Services.
