View Vacancy -- HR Advisor
We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR professional to join a busy team contributing to the development of a high-performance culture in the Council. Your specific role will be to support Council managers to manage performance and change well, advise on managing absence, disciplinary and other employment cases and as part of the wider HR team, promote excellent employee relations. You will also contribute to developing Council policies and promote the Council’s equality and diversity agenda.
Knowledge of employment law and experience of advising managers across a range of employment issues is essential as is the ability to demonstrate an understanding of a commitment to the Council’s values. Experience of working in a unionised environment or the public sector would be an advantage.
