View Vacancy -- Service Officer - Council Tax Enforcement

About the role

Haringey Council are looking to recruit two self-motivated individuals to work in their Revenues Service, within the Council Tax Enforcement Team to recover outstanding council tax arrears.

About you

This role plays a key part in helping the Council deliver many of the services our local residents rely on, from waste collection to street cleaning and libraries.

The role will be challenging and demanding, as you will need to work to tight deadlines to ensure the team is successful in meeting their targets.

• You will need to have excellent organisation and time management skills
• You will have a forward thinking mindset
• You will be able to make decisions based on the Council Tax Legislation, the Council’s own policies and procedure to maximise income collection and debt reduction.
• You will be a fast learner and adaptive to change as the Council continues to look for ways in delivering its services with an ever-reducing budget.
