About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to bring to life a new and innovative council service; a multi-use resource centre and hub for single homeless people. From working with designers to create a psychologically-informed physical environment, to designing the operating model of the hub with service users, this role will be varied, fast-paced and multi-disciplinary.

You will undertake all aspects of implementing the new service, including working with a small group of Peer Experts to ensure the service is co-designed by people who have experience of homelessness themselves.

This is a 6-month fixed term position, with the option to extend for a further 3-months if required for effective delivery of the service.

About you

Joining a small but proactive team you will support the Strategic Lead for Single Homelessness and Vulnerable Adults to deliver this key new service for people at risk of homelessness in the borough.

With relevant skills in service delivery, project management and co-production you will be confident in working alongside a range of stakeholders to design and deliver new services from inception to opening for the benefit of vulnerable people; working practices, operational policy development and partnership agreements.

With an eye for detail and the ability to work at pace, you will be effective at translating ideas into practice, with a strong focus on working in partnership to reduce homelessness.

Interview Date: Monday 17th December

How to apply – online – expressions of interest are welcome to Gill Taylor.
